How do I find the right size?

Is your swimwear true to size?
Our swimwear is generally true to size.
The textured 5D fabric does offer a generous amount of stretch so if in doubt or between sizes we recommend sizing down.
In the event an item differs from our usual fit and sizing, we will provide individual fit and sizing notes in the product description.
I am an E cup, what size should I buy?
All of our swimwear is based off a D- DD cup for the equivalent size.
For example Size 2 is an AU12 equivalent and is designed for a 12D-DD cup size.
We recommend the following:
A,B and C cup size down one size
D, DD and E cup take your regular size
F and G cup size up one size
H+ cup size up two sizes

I am tall, will your dresses be too short?
Bokumaia is designed with diverse bodies in mind with a focus on fit and comfort. Our founder, Bree is almost 6ft tall so our design and sampling process ensures our pieces can work on a taller frame.

Can I change or update my order?
Our website is linked directly to our 3PL warehouse so your order is processed as soon as it is placed, therefore we are unable to change or update.
Can I cancel my order?

Should you no longer want your purchase after placing your order, you will need to submit a return request via our returns portal.
I have received an incorrect item
We try to ensure all items are checked before dispatch, however if you have any concerns with your order, please use the returns portal to resolve.
Alternatively, please contact us at customercare@bokumaia.com with your order number and images of the incorrect item.

We try to ensure all items are of the best possible quality and checked before dispatch, however if you have any concerns with your order, please use the returns portal to resolve.

Do you ship internationally?
We ship worldwide. All orders are shipped via Australia Post from our warehouse in Melbourne, Australia. Our warehouse processes and dispatches orders Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm AEST.

I entered the wrong address on my order, can I update it?
Our website is linked directly to our 3PL warehouse so your order is processed as soon as it is placed, we are unable to cancel or update. Please check shipping details carefully before submitting your order.
How can I track my order?
Once your parcel has been shipped from our warehouse you will be sent an email confirmation with tracking information.

My order was not delivered
If your order is not delivered, missing or lost, please reach out to customercare@bokumaia.com. Once the package has been declared lost by the shipping provider, we can issue you a replacement, store credit or refund.
Will I incur duties & taxes?
Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
For customers in the US, fees are only incurred for orders over $800 USD or more.
For customers in all other countries, duties and taxes will be calculated upon arrival.
We recommend you check your local customs website for estimated costs prior to ordering. We do not take responsibility for any additional fees which may be applied in your receiving country.
RETURNS
What is your returns policy?

How do I submit a return request?
All returns are processed via our Returns Portal within 30 days of the delivery date and returned in their original condition: unworn, unwashed and unused with original tags attached.
Do you offer prepaid returns?
For Australian orders - we currently offer free size exchanges. For all other returns, we offer a flat rate of $9.95 AUD for a pre-paid label which will be deducted from your refund or store credit.
For International orders - please note we do not cover return postage fees for and we do not refund original shipping fees or duties/taxes.
Do you offer exchanges?
We currently offer free size exchanges for Australian customers.
Unfortunately, we cannot facilitate exchanges for International customers. We recommend returning your order for refund (if eligible) and making a new purchase for your desired items.
When will my return be processed?
Please allow 3-5 business days for your return to be processed by our warehouse once it has been received. You will receive an email confirmation once it has been checked and processed.
When will I receive my refund?
If your order is eligible for a refund, you will be refunded back to your original payment method and you will receive a notification via email. Please allow up to 7 business days for this amount to appear in your account.
Can I return a sale item?
All Sale Items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned. All products marked as *FINAL SALE* on the product page are not eligible for refund, store credit or exchange.

GIFT CARDS
When will receive my gift card?
If you purchased your gift card online, then you will receive your gift card instantly via email.
If your gift card is from a returned item, you will receive your gift card via email once your return has been logged and processed. Please allow 3-5 business days for your return to be processed by our warehouse once it has been received.
How do I use my gift card?
To redeem an e-gift card or return to gift card, please enter the serial number in the ‘discount code or gift card’ section upon checkout.
How long is my gift card valid for?
